About GCs Ballroom

GCs Ballroom started operating in 2020 and though it was a rough start we can proudly say that our studio now has many wonderful dancers that attend both classes and our monthly social event.  We strive to create a friendly family atmosphere for all dancers attending our events.

As well as our social side we have a number of dancers that have decided to put in the long hard hours of classes and practice to try out the competition scene and I must say both Gary and myself are extremely proud of the dedication they have shown.  This also shows in the results they have received with many winning Australasian titles as well as many personal bests.

Styles we teach

Latin - Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Jive, Rumba, Paso Doble

Modern - Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz

New Vogue  - consisting of Waltz, Foxtrot, March Time and Sequence Dancing

Classical Sequence - (English Old Time) Sequence Dances and Competition Dances.

American Smooth - Waltz, Foxtrot and Tango
